Am I going to kill my Gamecube?
« on: July 26, 2009, 08:21:49 pm »
Hey, as you can see I've been hard at work competing in Sonic Heroes, and doing fairly well.

The thing is, I don't have a memory card at the moment, so I've been leaving the system on 24/7. Will it overheat and die eventually? I am BROKE, completely, so I can't purchase a memory card yet (I used to have one until it was lost somehow.)

Thanks.

I once left an N64 on for 10 days and then the power supply died out. Do you really think Nintendo was able to improve that immensely on their PSU design in just 5 short years?

it's not worth killing your GC for this :(

I think as long as the fan works, it shouldn't overheat.  of course the room being well ventilated and there isn't a large collection of dust slowly building in the vents.

all in all, think of the electric bill.
my name has nothing to do with Shadow The Hedgehog

Lol. Yeah, I guess I should figure out a way to fix this... maybe see if my friend can lend me a memory card.
